As a member of one of our business development units, you will be based abroad for 11 months every year, placed in any of our current 35 global destinations. You will spend an average of 5-8 months in each country to complete your project, responsible for gathering all the raw material necessary to publish both our online content and our country reports, which are featured in leading newspapers around the world, including The Guardian, The Times, The Financial Times Deutschland, USA Today and many more.

Job Description:

  • Negotiating and closing communication/advertising campaigns with government agencies and private companies.
  • Building up contact lists and profiling the key companies in each country.
  • Conducting local research on current issues and topics relevant to the country project, including socio-economic and political developments.
  • Preparing and conducting interviews with top ranking business and political officials around the world.
  • Negotiating advertising space for communication campaigns
  • Implementing the project strategy set by the Head Office and completing an editorial outline once all interviews have been concluded.

Job Requirements:

  • University graduates with a sound knowledge of international political, business and economic affairs.
  • At least two years experience in a commercial position (preferably in sales - though advertising, communications, finance, and other related industries are also considered).
  • Fluent in English. One of the following languages is a plus: French, Portuguese, Spanish.
  • Excellent personal presentation and strong communication, networking and public relations skills.
  • Results-driven, determined, energetic and talented in working with people.
  • Sales orientated (experience in sales desirable).
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes.
